As a Queer Elopement and wedding photographer based in Scotland, I'm always on the lookout for venues that truly feel inclusive,
They are near my home city - Edinburgh,
and are easy for couples with the least amount of work.
Traquair is an amazing place to get married as it looks stunning just as it is - no need to plan and budget for elaborate decor.
Candles and some flowers help to add to the romance and magic, but there is no need to go overboard as the house already looks like you are on a movie set.
Wake up at the estate, get ready...
... and just walk a couple minutes to your ceremony and reception - no travel, no stress on your wedding day...

Slow and stress-free...

Emotional and authentic...

Frolic around the estate...

Cozy up in the library...

... a candlelit dinner that looks like this...

... and party like this...

Wild, free and full of love...
