As the weather gets colder and chillier, it is the perfect time to reminisce on Spring sessions, right?
Today, we are revisiting this LGBTQ+ couples session in Budapest, Hungary, with Francesca and Bogi, an international couple living in the city.
While I am now based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I grew up in Hungary and love to capture queer love whenever I go back. We were looking to do a session in a wild flower field, a meadow field kept untouched for bees, but realised quite last minute it was not possible due to a celebration event happening in Varosliget that day. We decided to visit Margaret Island in the heart of the city - it was such a great location for an outdoorsy, nature-loving photographer like myself. It was also a good location to have a little more privacy and space for Bogi and Fran!
When I'm planning sessions, I always try to get to know them a little - I like to know what you love doing together, what your hobbies and favourite activities together as a couple. For this session, we decided to incorporate some books as these two love reading together - this ended up being my favorite part of the session, I think you can really tell this is how they love to spend their time together.
This is also a great example to see a full gallerry from me (almost - this is maybe 70% of the gallery!).
