Sunday morning couple session in Burntisland, Fife

When we started discussing the location of the photoshoot Becca and Alec mentioned that they would like it to be in Burntisland, where they've been on dog walks by the coast. I have never been, but heard only good things about the town and was excited to explore a bit of Fife after living in Edinburgh for years.

I got off the train on a cloudy Sunday morning, where the pair welcomed me with their dog, Fig. They led me to the location, which was a nice and easy walk from the station. The gorgeous, rocky coastline revealed itself - such a beautiful location an easy commute from me.

I am so in love with these photos, they capture the couple well and show how silly Fig is!

This trip to Fife has opened up my eyes about locations. As a couple's photographer in Scotland who does not have a driver's license, I have been struggling with the feeling of many pretty landscapes being impossible to reach, or just a pain to get to without a car. However, this photoshoot in Burntisland showed me how there are possibly so many hidden gems to discover that can be ideal locations for those couples who are in a similar boat - not having an access to a car, but still loove a day trip to a pretty nature spot.

Let me know your favourite day trips from Edinburgh!
